Kiribati Language Week made official
The inaugural launching and celebration of the Kiribati Language Week was premiered via the
Kiribati Language Facebook page on the 12th July, 2020.
We must act now to prevent family violence
This is a newly released data that would inform policies, programmes and projects to prevent family violence. It is expected that the issues identified in the report are also experienced amongst the Kiribati communities in New Zealand.

On behalf of all Kiribati people in New Zealand, KFA has worked collaboratively and
persistently with the Ministry of Pacific Peoples and successfully got the Kiribati
language week endorsed. It is now included as an additional official language in the
Boutokaan te Mweraoi training
